Project : Waves

All About Waves Project

This is New project named <Waves> in 2022.

What I express to is 'furthermore' spirit and point of contact when waves meet each other.

These overlapping would make another new creation when they meet.

I inspired by japanese and korean artists and their works.

I am thinking and developing to returning point where it started.

It looks like hugging each other.

Also It means <come back home> which is returning spirit and furthermore spirit as well.

I inspired by paratrooper which is korean artist SUH DO HO'S artwork.

The colourway and motion is very beautiful and mooved for me.

Eventually, It is all about movement and flowing from Waves.

When Waves are Overlapping,

This is a project about Waves such as these shapes and overlapping.

I imagine the waves as <furthermore> spirits which is when two things get together then it would make new creation by overlapping.

A Furthermore B

Not just fashion, thinking about another things such as convenience and environment. furthermore means uniting two different things also combining

several characteristics.

another Inspiration by JAPANESE ARTISTS

Some JAPANESE ARTISTS show their artificial mood and technics,

I am inspired from therir efficient style.

They show curvilinear beauty and resistant movement.

Rounded shape from architecture TOO.

I express to round and stiffness from another rounded component.

I want to apply wave's features to soft stiffness in fabrics.

Developing Ideas about connection

I wanna make it from waves feature.

It's developing my ideas to show dynamics.

It's about soft movement from waves.

When they meet each oher, It would make soft stiffness as waves.

Returning, Finally

There are some point of contact which are coming back.

Express the ideas returning.

The expression is returning images on fabrics as well.

There are 2 differnces characteristics blending such as layers, fabrics, lenths and designs.

Script about work

Returning=Come back Home

2 opposite things are blending is new borned creation.

It is also meaning 'come back home' as paratroopers who are returning.

There is one of korean Artist is SUH DO HO.

I inspired by his art work called PARATROOPER.

It means returning home.

Some lines and layers are returning from point to there.

There are cross or over spaces and substances.

using Origami

파도의 <겹쳐짐>을 원단의 볼록함으로도 표현이 가능할 듯 하다는 생각이 들었습니다.

기존의 누빔 퀼팅 으로는 재미가 없을 듯 하여 재활용할 아이템을 찾아 보았고,

버려지는 이불을 뜯어서 자켓으로 만들어 보았습니다.

자켓의 카라와 라펠은 종이로 제작하였습니다.

가장 포인트가 되는 뒷부분은 오리가미에서 영감을 받아서

낙하산이 펴지는 쉐입을 모티브로 디자인하였습니다.

아직 작업중에 있습니다.

2가지 소재와 다른 두 성질의 교합점을 찾는 중이고

낙하하는 활동성을 표현하는 디자인을 하려고 디벨롭

중에 있습니다.
